About Us

- AGMA -
AGMA is an acronym for the four arts of the ancient quadrivium:
Arithmetic, Geometry, Music, and Astronomy.
The company was founded to provide books, games, and other materials related to mathematics and natural philosophy with their relation to philosophy and theology for students, teachers, researchers, and any other interested people in this field. We focus on historic and 'primary' sources albeit with a broad scope from antiquity to the modern and contemporary periods.

- Phillip Johnson-
Phillip Johnson, is a Teaching Fellow at New College Franklin where he focuses on the Quadrivium. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a double-major B.S. in Engineering & Mathematics from Union University. His teaching and research interests are at the intersection of philosophy & 'STEM'. He founded AGMA to provide better access to materials related to the quadrivium.
